ModivCare is seeking a Wheelchair Driver to transport passengers within a designated mileage radius from our operations center in Maine. The role requires safe driving, route navigation, and maintaining vehicle readiness in a service-focused environment.

Hours are Monday through Friday, typically 4:00 AM to 8:00 PM EST. A valid driver's license, clean driving record, and strong customer service skills are essential. Modivcare provides a company vehicle, gas card, and phone stipend.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 0+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Valid driver's license for the appropriate vehicle type.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Knowledge of navigating the local area to find safest routes.
• Excellent driving and ability to handle various weather conditions.
• Customer-service oriented with strong communication.
• Ability to follow instructions and schedules.
• Physical fitness for long hours of driving.

Responsabilités

• Operate vehicle in a safe and responsible manner, following traffic laws.
• Transport passengers to medical facilities and homes.
• Navigate routes efficiently using maps or GPS.
• Inspect vehicle and maintain cleanliness.
• Complete daily trip sheets and report mechanical issues.
• Ensure permits and documentation are up-to-date.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Adhere to company policies and safety guidelines.
