Job summary

Southeastrans, Inc. is seeking a Non-Emergency Driver Attendant in Jonesboro, AR to assist Medicaid members during rides to and from appointments. You will perform transports safely and complete required paperwork, with pre-trip vehicle inspections daily.

Ideal candidates will read and interpret safety rules, be at least 25, and be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays; must live within 30 minutes of Jonesboro. You will join a dependable, patient-focused transportation team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 1–3 months related experience.
• Must be at least 25 years of age.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Must work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned daily transports in a safe and timely manner.
• Complete all paperwork required for transportation services rendered.
• Complete vehicle pre-trip inspections.
• Supervise and assist with student behavior and report discipline problems.
• Communicate with teachers and parents about student behavior.
• Be familiar with routes to school campus.
• Ensure seat belts and car seats are properly used.
• Follow emergency procedures and assist driver with first aid if necessary.
• Maintain courteous and professional appearance per driver handbook.
