Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network in Bethlehem, PA, seeks a Patient Care Partner for night shift on 5T Med/Surg. You will provide designated patient care, support the licensed team, and engage with patients and families to address needs during rounds and telehealth encounters.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, basic medical knowledge, and the ability to work safely in a busy inpatient setting, including lifting and mobility support as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care needs.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and the care team.
• Basic life support and safety awareness as part of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with and supports the interprofessional team, patient, family and designated care partners.
• Performs direct and indirect patient care activities under supervision.
• Maintains a safe patient care environment and supports rounds.
• Assists with telehealth as directed and uses clinical software for encounters.
