Job summary

West Central Arkansas Planning And Development District, Inc. is seeking non-emergency medical transport drivers to provide safe and timely transportation for clients to medical appointments and other essential services.

Positions are independent contractor (1099) with starting pay at $15/hr, serving Hot Springs and Pine Bluff. Drivers will transport clients, assist with mobility devices, and maintain professional conduct while following safety protocols and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
• Familiarity with GPS and local routes.
• Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities is a plus.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport clients to scheduled medical appointments and destinations.
• Provide courteous, professional assistance entering and exiting the vehicle.
• Maintain a clean, well-kept vehicle and follow all safety protocols.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch and clients regarding schedules and routes.
• Assist clients with mobility devices such as walkers or wheelchairs.
• Ensure accurate trip documentation and adherence to company procedures.
