Job summary

The role requires an Associate Degree in Radiology, Arkansas licensure, BLS, and at least two years of MRI experience. This PRN, on-site position emphasizes safety, protocol adherence, and effective communication with clinicians and patients.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Radiology or equivalent.
• Active Arkansas radiologic licensure.
• BLS certification current.
• At least two years of MRI experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations per physician orders and imaging protocols.
• Verify patient identity and exam orders prior to scanning.
• Conduct MRI safety screening and assess implants or contraindications.
• Explain procedures to patients to promote understanding and comfort.
• Assist with patient positioning considering pain and mobility limits.
• Operate MRI equipment and software to obtain diagnostic-quality images.
• Monitor patients during scans and respond to discomfort or changes in condition.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure HIPAA compliance.
