Job summary

Baptist Health in Little Rock is seeking a Mental Health Technician IHA to join the Resource Team Behavioral Services. This PRN role supports patients and families with basic care, monitoring, and hygiene, collaborating closely with the care team on a 0630-0630 schedule.

The MHT will bring compassion and excellent human interaction, with strong verbal and written communication, good organization, and a willingness to learn new healthcare skills.

Qualifications

• 12 college-level credits including English Composition with a C or higher and a GPA ≥ 2.0.
• Healthcare experience preferred but not required.
• Service industry experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to work flexible hours.
• Strong communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients and families with basic care, monitoring, and hygiene.
• Work as part of the patient care team to ensure care is complete.
• Demonstrate compassion and excellent human interaction with patients.
• Communicate effectively with the health care team and families.
