Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center in Richardson, TX seeks a Mental Health Technician to provide direct support to patients receiving psychiatric or behavioral health care, under supervision of nursing and clinical staff.

You will monitor patient safety and behavior, assist with activities of daily living, and help implement individualized treatment plans. Hours: 36 per week, 3 days, 12X3 Day shift.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Requires a Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, or American Heart Association.
• Satori Alternatives to Managing Aggression (SAMA) certification within first week of hire.
• Requires 2 years' experience in mental health related field with direct patient care responsibilities.
