Roxbury Treatment Center in Shippensburg, PA seeks a Mental Health Technician to join a 112-bed behavioral health team. The role supports patients aged from adolescent to geriatrics, with 12-hour shifts and every-other-weekend rotation. Full-time, with sign-on bonus; part-time and PRN options available.

• Bachelor's in psychology-related field highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors unit milieu and helps to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
• Leads activity groups for patients according to the program schedule.
• Conducts patient observation rounds throughout the shift to ensure safety.
• Works collaboratively with unit nursing staff on patient care activities.
• Responds to patient crisis events using de-escalation techniques.
