Job summary

MorningStar of Arvada, part of MorningStar Senior Living, is hiring a Caregiver - Assisted Living/Memory Care. This full-time on-site role offers a $23/hour pay range and a $500 sign-on bonus with a supportive team in a compassionate community.

You will assist residents with daily living activities, maintain privacy and dignity, and participate in monthly trainings to ensure high-quality care. Previous healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.
• State-approved medication administration training and first aid certification as applicable by state.
• Monthly in-service education attendance as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties in accordance with established methods and techniques and in conformance with recognized standards.
• Ensure residents privacy, respect and dignity.
• Detect, correct, and report unsafe conditions which may result in harm to a resident.
• Assure physical comfort, safety, and mental well-being of residents.
• Assist in daily requirements and tasks in care and treatment of residents, such as toileting, grooming, bathing, feeding, dressing, observing intake of food, care of hair and nails, moving residents from area to area, responding to calls, etc.
• Participate in and attend monthly in-service meetings, all training, and departmental meetings.
