Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Medication Technician for our Santa Clarita, CA community. The role supports medication administration, direct resident care, and coordination with pharmacy and physicians, in line with nursing standards.

The position emphasizes teamwork, attention to safety, and compliance with health and facility policies. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent; LVN is a plus, and familiarity with MS Office is helpful.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience assisting with medication at a RCFE preferred; state training may be required.
• Ability to operate MS Office; strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacies, and physicians.
• Order and track medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with staff and other departments.
