Job summary

SD Developmental Center in Redfield, SD is hiring a Medication Technician to implement training, behavior management, and therapy programs for individuals with developmental disabilities. Requires current South Dakota Medication Certification or prior experience; high school diploma or equivalent; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; background checks;

Qualifications

• Must hold current South Dakota Medication Certification or have past experience administering medications.
• High school diploma or equivalent and registration with the SD Board of Nursing if applicable.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per plan and maintain medication records.
• Carry out training, behavior management, and therapy programs for individuals served.
• Support life skills, academic and work skills through structured activities.
