IVY PARK AT SALINAS is seeking a Medication Technician to supervise and assist in administering medications to residents per nursing standards. The role includes providing personal care, encouraging activity participation, and coordinating with housekeepers and maintenance to support residents’ wellbeing.

Responsibilities include preparing medications, coordinating with pharmacies and physicians, tracking changes, and maintaining care records.

Qualifications

• Must pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests (including TB).
• Based on state regulation, completion of training/certification may be required.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with resident, pharmacy, and physician.
• Order and track all medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe environment following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork across departments.
