Job summary

The Colonnade at West Ashley in Charleston, SC is seeking a Medication Technician to enhance the SRIM experience by supporting residents and families through medications, daily care, and activities.

Requires a High School diploma or GED, 1-2 years related experience, and Med-Tech certification; familiarity with EMR and word processing is preferred. Must demonstrate empathy, safety awareness, and teamwork daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1-2 years related experience and/or training.
• Med-Tech certification required.
• Ability to read safety rules and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates SRIM values and treats residents with respect.
• Supervises self-administration of medication for residents.
• Assists with ADLs, meals, and housekeeping while supporting independence.
• Interacts with residents with empathy and professionalism.
• Assists in dining room during meals and activities as scheduled.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment and follows safety protocols.
