Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Administers medications as ordered by a physician under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the five rights of medication administration.
• Records administration of medications and treatments accurately.
• Observes and reports reactions or side effects to a licensed nurse.
• Records PRN medications and responses in a timely manner.
• Properly secures medication carts and rooms per policy.
• Participates in facility education and QA meetings.
