Watercrest Senior Living Group seeks a Medication Assistant - SNF for PRN placement in Austin, TX. You will participate in medication management and resident care, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

You will support nursing staff, distribute medications, monitor for adverse reactions, and maintain records. Prior experience as a Medication Assistant is required; CPR/First Aid is preferred. This PRN role offers flexible shifts and the chance to serve seniors with compassion.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• License / Certification for Medication Assistance as required per state regulations.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Experience as a Medication Assistant required.

Responsabilidades

• Distribute prescribed medication to residents and maintain related medical records under supervision.
• Present medication to residents and observe ingestion or administration.
• Monitor residents for reactions and report changes as needed.
• Document reasons meds are not administered or disposed of.
• Maintain 24 Hour Reports, Daily Logs, and shift reports.
• Ensure medication accountability across shifts and processes.
• Respect residents' rights regarding medication.
