Cherry Springs Village is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide to ensure safe, accurate medication administration and monitor residents' health, while supporting the nursing team with care that promotes dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State-approved Medication Aide training program preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare/senior living/long-term care preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and time-management skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents' needs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Medication Administration: prepare, administer, and document medications per physician orders and protocols.
• Health Monitoring: observe and report changes, measure vital signs, assist with basic healthcare tasks.
• Resident Engagement: build positive relationships and encourage participation in wellness activities.
• Safety & Compliance: follow infection control procedures, maintain organized medication carts and records, respond to emergencies.
