Job summary

Qualifications

• Successful completion of medication assistance training in compliance with state and facility requirements.
• Maintains up-to-date medication certification requirements according to state regulations.
• Prior direct care experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments to residents.
• Observes residents taking medications and notes effects or adverse events.
• Documents required information in residents' medication records.
• Communicates concerns or observations with Wellness Director or designated staff.
• Supports residents with activities of daily living and preserves dignity.
