Job summary

The Pennant Group, Inc. is seeking a Medication Aide for our senior living community in Orange, California.

You will administer prescribed medications and treatments to residents, observe effects, document in medication administration records, and communicate concerns to the Wellness Director or designated staff. You will also support residents with daily living activities, encourage independence, and uphold dignity through professional interactions.

Qualifications

• Completion of medication assistance training in compliance with state requirements.
• Maintains up-to-date medication certification as required by state regulations.
• Prior experience in direct care or senior living environments is a plus.
• Current CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments to residents.
• Observe residents taking medications and note effects or adverse reactions.
• Diligently document information in medication administration records.
• Communicate concerns or observations with Wellness Director or designated staff.
• Support residents with activities of daily living and promote independence.
