Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed PO, topical, and rectal medications.
• Monitor for adverse reactions or changes in resident status.
• Document all medication administration in accordance with policies.
• Maintain a secure medication cart and a safe environment.
• Safeguard resident confidentiality.
• Follow infection control procedures during medication administration.
• Report any medication errors to the Charge Nurse.
