Stonecroft Assisted Living is seeking a compassionate Medication Aide - SIC to support our clinical team in administering medications and providing specialized care to residents.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, adherence to safety protocols, and proactive monitoring of residents for side effects.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, state certification as a Medication Aide, and experience in senior care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• State certification as a Medication Aide preferred; on-the-job training available.
• Healthcare experience in senior care or assisted living preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medication administration and safety protocols.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents as prescribed, ensuring proper dosage and documentation.
• Provide individualized care for residents with specific medical needs and assist with ADLs.
• Maintain accurate medication records and report adverse reactions or errors.
• Monitor residents for side effects or changes in condition; notify healthcare team.
• Store and handle medications safely per regulations and policies.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and other professionals to ensure quality care.
• Follow all regulations and safety protocols for medication administration.
