Job summary

PACS Group in Nampa, Idaho, is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to join our Health Services team. You will administer medications to residents as ordered by physicians, under supervision, and document all doses with accuracy while maintaining safety and compliance with state regulations.

In this role you will follow facility policies, participate in quality assurance programs and surveys, and assist in investigating medication errors to improve safety.

Qualifications

• Must possess a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a licensed Medication Aide with state-approved training and exams.
• Excellent reading, writing, and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents as ordered by physician under supervision.
• Document medication administration accurately and report errors.
• Follow facility policies, participate in QA and surveys.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and state laws.
