Job summary

Hillcrest Health & Living is seeking compassionate Medication Aides to join our teams across Omaha, Papillion, and Bellevue, NE. This role provides safe medication assistance, personal care, and dignity to residents and guests, with shifts across multiple Hillcrest communities.

You will work with nurses and other staff to ensure quality care, follow infection-control practices, and build positive relationships with residents and families.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant certification in Nebraska is required.
• Active Medication Aide certification in Nebraska is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in long-term care, post-acute care, hospital, senior living, or related setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medication administration according to orders and care plans.
• Follow the five rights of medication administration and maintain resident privacy.
• Observe residents for changes and report to the nurse.
• Provide personal care and daily support per care plan.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, mobility, and toileting.
• Support meals, hydration, dining, and daily routines.
• Communicate changes and concerns to the nursing team.
• Document medication assistance and changes accurately.
