Job summary

The Medication Assistant (MA) serves as a caregiver providing resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance at The Lodge of Howard Lake in Howard Lake, MN. Shifts are day, part-time, 20 hours per week, with weekend rotation and additional $1.25/hr weekend differential.

Administers prescribed medications per state regulations under supervision, documents outcomes, and supports wellness programs. Requires MN CNA and TMA certifications; prior nursing assistant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Minimum age of 18 preferred.
• Maintains yearly competency testing and 12 hours CE annually according to state requirements.
• Must hold MN CNA and TMA certification where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under supervision.
• Administers medications as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Documents care, medication administration, and vital signs.
• Assists with meals, housekeeping, and recreational activities.
