Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills in phlebotomy and aseptic technique.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program is required.
• BCLS certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms: sanitize, stock supplies, and ensure medications/vaccines are ready.
• Review and manage patient flow, escort patients to rooms.
• Take and record vitals, patient history, allergies, and medications.

Skills

BCLS certification

Education

Graduation from a NYS-accredited Medical Assistant program

Current Medical Assistant certification preferred (NHA, AMT, AAMA, NCCT)
