Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical Assistant to perform duties under the direction of a physician to assist in the examination and treatment of patients. The position is contract-based and full-time, with a weekly pay cycle.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (or equivalent), completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, and relevant experience. CPR certification and adherence to health standards are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program; certification preferred.
• Minimum of one year relevant experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current CPR card (if applicable).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray (if applicable).
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Perform duties under the direction of a physician to assist in the examination and treatment of patients.
• Assist with clerical tasks and maintain patient records as required.
