Job summary

Abrazo Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide direct nursing care in a medical office setting under a physician’s direction. You will assist providers, maintain a clean and safe environment, and support front desk tasks to ensure a smooth patient experience.

This non-exempt role offers a comprehensive benefits package, a $1000 sign-on bonus for new hires, and opportunities for professional development while serving patients in the Valley.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited school or three years of relevant work experience in a healthcare setting in lieu of a Medical Assistant diploma.
• CPR/BLS certification is required; Medical Assistant certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to and supports the mission, policies, and procedures of Tenet Physician Resources.
• Assist in assessing patient needs and health plans, including taking vital signs and preparing for procedures.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians with treatments, exams, and procedures.
• Administer prescribed medications and perform venipunctures and lab testing.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and manage inventory.

Education
