Job summary

Qualifications

• Vital signs assessment and documenting patient information.
• Direct patient care under physician supervision.
• Maintenance of patient safety and comfort during visits.

Responsibilities

• Assists in nursing care in a medical office setting under physician supervision.
• Takes vital signs, collects history, notes chief complaint.
• Documents in the patient’s medical record per policy.
• Prepares equipment and assists with treatments and procedures.
• Administers prescribed medications, performs venipunctures and lab tests.
• Maintains clean, safe environment and stocks rooms.
• Follows HIPAA and corporate policies.
