Job summary

Littleton Regional Healthcare is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our busy North Country Primary Care practice. The role blends clinical and administrative duties to support physicians and improve patient care in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate will have prior medical office experience, completion of a medical assistant program, BLS certification, and the ability to maintain a clean clinical area, document patient information, and assist with exams and referrals.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a medical office or similar healthcare setting.
• One year of medical practice experience preferred.
• Completion of a medical assistant program or equivalent clinical training.
• Preferred CMA/RMA certification but not required.
• Required BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and assist during exams.
• Measure and record vital signs (BP, temp, height, weight).
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
• Provide basic patient education on medications and care.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage calendars.
