Job summary

Central Ohio Primary Care Physicians, Inc. is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant for Cooper Road Family Practice in Westerville, Ohio.

You will provide administrative and clinical support, prepare treatment rooms, take vitals, administer injections, collect specimens, and document in the EHR.

Two days per week (7:45a–4p) and Fridays (7:45a–12p), with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program is required.
• MA certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with the clinical care team to deliver patient care.
• Set up medical equipment, perform tests, administer injections, and collect specimens.
• Interview patients and obtain medical history; measure and record vital signs in the EHR.
• Blood draws and specimen processing; assist in routine medical procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms; review orders and call in prescriptions as directed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA and respond to patient calls.
