Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support physicians and clinical staff in our Utah office. This role blends clinical and administrative duties, including charting, patient intake, specimen collection, and preparing exam rooms for visits.

The ideal candidate will have an accredited MA diploma, CPR/BLS, and strong communication and confidentiality skills to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
• Certification as Medical Assistant preferred or required by state
• CPR/BLS certification preferred

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and prepare them for visits by collecting medical history, medications, allergies and chief complaints and document in medical record.
• Assist with patient flow and support exams and procedures.
• Prepare exam rooms, maintain supplies and sterilization; ensure a safe patient environment.
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures under supervision.
• Collect and prepare specimens, administer injections when allowed by state regulations.
• Schedule tests and follow-up appointments and communicate results to patients.
• Uphold HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality; provide compassionate service.
