Job summary

COPC Brand is seeking a Medical Assistant in Westerville, OH to provide administrative and clinical support for efficient primary care delivery. The role collaborates with the clinical team to ensure a compassionate, patient‑focused experience for all patients.

Responsibilities include patient intake, vital signs, specimen collection, injections, EHR documentation, and front‑line patient education while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality and accurate charting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of Medical Assistant program or Ohio-licensed practical nurse.
• MA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with clinical care team to deliver care to patients.
• Foster clear communication between care team, patient and providers.
• Prepare examination rooms and assist with procedures.
• Take and record vital signs and administer injections as applicable.
• Perform blood draws and specimen collection.
• Maintain accuracy of patient records and HIPAA-compliant confidentiality.
• Schedule and coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and paperwork as needed.
• Respond to patient calls and provide education using educational tools.
