Job summary

Conviva Senior Primary Care is seeking a Medical Assistant 2 to serve as the first point of contact for patient care in a fast-paced on-site clinic in Deerfield Beach, FL. You will perform administrative duties and clinical tasks, document information in the EMR, and support physicians in exams and procedures.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of MA program or CMA/RMA certification or 5+ years of experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR Certification
• TB screening requirement prior to employment

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and collect health information including symptoms and vitals
• Document patient information and clinical activities in the EMR
• Administer medications and vaccines per certification/scope of practice
• Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens for testing
• Assist physicians with patient care and procedures
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms and equipment
• Follow infection-control and safety procedures
• Support clinic operations and patient outcomes
