Job summary

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, MA certification, and required BLS if in an outpatient hospital setting, with training through the MA Clinic Academy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• New hire must attend MA Clinic Academy training.
• MA certification must be actively maintained.
• For Hospital Outpatient Departments: BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assists the physician and office staff with patient care activities in accordance with nursing practice standards.
• Communicates with patients, families, visitors and coworkers with a caring, professional approach.
• Maintains compliance with Mercy philosophy and policies; adheres to safety and privacy practices.
