Job summary

Imagine360 in Clovis, CA seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to support the miCare Health Center under Practitioner delegation. You will perform MA duties, patient intake, medication administration, and assist with procedures, while handling clerical tasks and contributing to quality care.

This full-time role requires 2+ years MA experience with phlebotomy, BLS, and strong HIPAA compliance. The position offers health plans, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a certified medical assistant program or CA-approved state agency.
• 2+ years clinical medical assistant experience with phlebotomy skills.
• Medical terminology proficiency.
• Current BLS.
• Working knowledge of computers and software including Microsoft Office products.
• Proficient typing skills.
• Demonstrated organizational skills, problem-solving, analytical skills and detail oriented.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize workloads multi-task and manage priorities in order to meet deadlines.
• Ability to maintain the confidentiality of protected health information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Work is indoors in an office environment with moderate noise.
• Intermittent physical effort involving lifting up to 25 pounds, standing, sitting, walking, and stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, and supporting patients is required.

Responsibilities

• General MA duties: Office reception, greeting patients, recording demographics, history, symptoms, and other information as directed by Practitioners.
• Medication administration and assisting with or performing procedures.
• Manage patient flow and effective communication with miCare team and patients.
• Carry out Practitioner orders accurately and document provided care.
• Operational: Inventory, ordering, restocking supplies; maintain documentation and files; ensure clean work environment.
• Coordinate health fairs/HRAs/flu shots; develop materials with Marketing; present to clients.
• Customer service: be a role model for core values, provide timely follow-up, escalate issues when needed.
• Quality assurance: participate in committees/teams to improve quality and processes; train new staff.
