Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program (per state requirements).
• BLS certification as required by ASC policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admission, discharge, and transfer processes.
• Take patients' vital signs and collect information.
• Maintain documentation of patient care for the healthcare team.
• Provide basic patient care and support daily living activities.
• Support wound care and catheter care as directed by staff.
• Ensure rooms are clean and stocked with supplies.
