Job summary

Michael L Weiss MD LTD is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join a family practice team. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment focused on compassionate, high-quality patient care. Hours are Mon-Thu 7am-5pm with a one-hour lunch and Fri 7-12.

Medical, Vision and Dental insurance start from day one, plus 401K match, PTO, and a supportive culture. Responsibilities include vitals collection, documentation, urine analysis, injections, equipment maintenance, and triage calls.

Qualifications

• Prior medical office experience preferred
• Excellent patient service skills and phone etiquette
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work successfully as a team member and autonomously
• Attention to detail
• Being a team player

Responsibilities

• Collect patient’s vitals
• Document all communications in clear and concise manner, and in compliance with professional standards
• Urine collection, analysis
• Administer medication and vaccine injections
• Maintain supplies and equipment
• Perform cleaning and stocking of clinical supplies in lab and exam room
• Answer and triage incoming phone calls; communicate physician recommendations and/or treatment plan via phone; call in prescriptions
• Assist other team members with patient care
