Job summary

TriHealth is hiring a Medical Assistant to support physicians in examination and treatment, record vitals, and prepare rooms. The role requires patient-focused care, teamwork, and adherence to CLIA guidelines.

Responsibilities include charting, assisting with labs, injections, EKGs, and venipuncture, with potential cross-training to improve care delivery. This is a full-time day position in Cincinnati, OH with available incentives and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification required for healthcare providers.
• EKG, injections and venipuncture performed per CLIA guidelines and TriHealth policy.

Responsibilities

• Provides support to physicians/clinical staff.
• Skillfully performs/obtains tests and specimens ensuring proper departmental procedures.
• Performs technical skills according to hospital policies and approved standards.
• Maintains high efficiency, organization and time management to promote patient care.
• Demonstrates strong written, verbal and phone skills; shows courtesy and respect to patients and team.
• Accurately documents patient care in chart and maintains confidentiality.
• Maintains appearance and cleanliness of exam rooms, supply areas and nurses station.
