Qualifications

• 0–1 year clinical experience or equivalent preferred.
• If MA program/externship/internship not completed, 2+ years clinical support experience required.
• Maintains MA CEUs if credentialed.
• Specific MA certifications from CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA/CMAC acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare patients for appointments.
• Document patient histories, vitals, and health information.
• Assist with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and conduct diagnostic tests as directed.
• Communicate test results and provider instructions to patients.
• Educate patients and families for better health outcomes.
• Coordinate care between patients and providers.
• Support quality improvement and disease management programs.
