Qualifications

• One plus year of experience in a medical setting.
• Thorough knowledge of medical terminology and sterile technique.

Responsabilités

• Serve as a patient advocate during exams and treatments.
• Interview patients, measure vitals, and record medical history.
• Prepare examination and procedure rooms; assist during exams.
• Administer medications as directed by a physician following safety protocols.
• Collect specimens, log results, and prepare them for testing.
• Explain treatments, medications, diets, and wound care to patients.
• Assist physicians with procedures and maintain sterile field.
• Handle prescriptions and refills under provider direction.
• Schedule appointments and manage room cleanliness and supplies.
• Respond to emergencies per policies and document appropriately.
