Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with a 160-hour externship.
• Graduate from MA program without externship but with 1 year clinical MA experience in past 5 years.
• Current Medical Assistant certification with 1 year clinical MA experience OR LPN/EMT with relevant experience.
• Current BLS-C on hire or by orientation end.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients to exam rooms and maintain a welcoming environment.
• Obtain and record medical histories and vital signs.
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, assisting providers as needed.
• Perform clinical tasks to support ambulatory patient care.
• Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to provide compassionate care.
