You will welcome patients, take vital signs, histories, screenings, prepare for exams, assist during procedures, administer vaccines, perform lab tasks, document in the EHR, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and teammates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medical assistant diploma or 2 years MA experience, or be a certified MA with 2 years MA experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedule: 8:30a-5p Mon-Fri; 8:00a-12p Sat; half-day midweek when Saturday.
• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
