Job summary

Westmont Living is seeking a compassionate MED TECH for The Oaks at Paso Robles, a senior living community offering assisted living and memory care. You will assist residents with medications, document MARs, and follow physician directions under RN/RSD supervision.

This role requires attention to detail, compliance with state rules, and commitment to resident safety. We provide competitive pay and benefits as part of our team.

Qualifications

• Must have compassionate patient care approach.
• Experience with assisting residents with medications.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform medication set-up and assist residents on the Medication Program with the self- administration of their medications
• Must be able to set up, record and assist with medications as ordered by physicians and/or at the direction of the RN and RSD.
• Provide medication assistance documentation per policy and state requirements including:
• Document medication assistance on MARs immediately after assistance
• Leaves no blanks on MARs
• Document reasons for PRN medication on reverse of MARs and effectiveness of medication
• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community
• Must pass health screens such as Physical, TB, Drug test
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.
