Qualifications

• Must complete certified Medication Technician/RMA program as required by state regulations.
• Maintain required certification and complete continuing education as required.
• Prior experience in assisted living or senior care preferred.
• English literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed and per policy.
• Document medication administration accurately.
• Follow medication procedures and safety practices.
• Observe residents for effects, side effects, or changes.
• Communicate concerns to supervisors.
• Record vital signs when indicated.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, storage, and accountability.
• Keep medications securely stored.
• Perform shift-to-shift medication counts.
• Monitor supplies and report needs.
• Promote dignity, privacy, and independence.
• Communicate with residents, families, and care team.
• Follow infection control practices.
• Maintain clean, safe equipment and supplies.
• Assist with other resident care tasks as allowed.
• Maintain confidentiality and PHI.
• Report suspected abuse, neglect, or rights violations.
• Participate in training and drills.
• Assist with emergency procedures and evacuations.
• Follow all regs and company policies.
• Maintain reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
