Job summary

Shenandoah Nursing and Rehab (Autumn) in Fishersville, VA is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the Maintenance Director in keeping the Life Safety Code and facility in good working order, with emphasis on safety, sanitation and policy adherence.

The role is full-time with a day shift (7:00a-4:00p) and an hourly wage of $17.00–$23.00. A high school diploma is required. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401K, life insurance, PTO, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Maintenance Director in ensuring Life Safety Code compliance and that the physical plant, equipment, grounds and utilities are maintained in good working order.
• Follow health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintain established standards of practice per community administration and Maintenance Policies and Procedures.
