Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care including medications, medi-sets, treatments, and doctor orders.
• Maintains accurate medication records and dispensing logs.
• Serves as a communication link between shifts and Nurse Manager.
• Collaborates with Sister Life Ministers, Administration Staff, and Volunteers to ensure resident care quality.
• Maintains written health care records.
• Offers guidance to Care Assistants.
• Attends staff meetings, in-services, and care conferences.
• Responds to emergencies and takes appropriate action.
• Demonstrates knowledge of infection control standards.
• May be required to drive occasionally.
• Performs other nursing care activities in collaboration with the Nurse Manager.
