Job summary

Sylvan Shores Health and Wellness seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN) to join our skilled nursing team on a part-time/PRN basis. You will collaborate with RNs and physicians to implement care plans and ensure compassionate patient care.

The role requires at least 1 year of LPN experience, Texas license, CPR certification, and excellent interpersonal communication. Flexible scheduling and the ability to respond to changing patient needs are essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience as an LPN.
• Current state license as an LPN.
• Graduate of an accredited program of practical nursing.
• Proof of current CPR certification.
• Ability to work flexible schedule.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the planning and coordination of total patient care in conjunction with the RN and the physician's plan of care, and follow the nursing care plan for each patient
• Accurately report and record the patient's condition and care, including signs and symptoms which may be indicative of change
• Prepare clinical/progress notes and summaries
• Assist the physician and Registered Nurse in complex nursing situations
• Follow universal precautions whenever giving any aspect of patient care
• Follow emergency procedures in the event of any catastrophic event, incident, e.g., accident, injury or significant change in the patient's condition
