Job summary

IEP Corp seeks an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility team in Pico Rivera, California. The LVN will provide direct nursing care under RN supervision, administer medications, monitor residents, and help implement individualized care plans.

Ideal candidates hold a valid California LVN license, have at least 1 year of relevant experience, strong clinical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• Valid and current LVN license in California.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a skilled nursing facility, acute care, or inpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medications and treatments, monitoring vital signs, and documenting changes in condition.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on residents' needs and goals.
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure accurate, complete charting and documentation.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
• Educate residents and families about healthcare needs and treatments.
• Respond to emergencies and provide first aid.
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and regulations.
