Job summary

Aveanna Healthcare in Austin, TX is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a part-time daytime role. The LVN will provide compassionate home health nursing to a pediatric client, following a structured care plan and physician orders.

You'll work closely with a Registered Nurse and other clinicians to deliver safe, high‑quality patient care. The position offers flexible scheduling (days, with some evenings or weekends possible), opportunities for skill advancement, and local support.

Qualifications

• Must have active LPN/LVN license in the practicing state.
• CPR certification required.
• TB skin test within 12 months.
• Six months hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate skilled nursing care per care plan and physician orders.
• Observe, assess, and report changes in patient condition to supervisor/physician.
• Document nursing actions and care coordination promptly.
• Participate in updating and implementing the nursing care plan.
• Maintain infection control standards and protect staff and patient.
• Educate patient and family on disease process, self-care, and prevention.
