Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health in New Jersey seeks an LPN to provide clinical support under supervision, ensuring smooth patient flow and high patient satisfaction. You will liaise between patients and providers and assist with medications and treatments per RN orders.

Responsibilities include recording vital signs, supporting discharge planning, assisting with hygiene and meals, and collaborating with physicians. Flexibility to float and adapt to unit needs is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited LPN program.

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Fluency in the Spanish language preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and competency in completing assigned treatments and procedures according to established standards and policies.
• Follows plan of care as directed by the RN and/or clinical supervisors.
• Adapts work schedule to meet the needs of the unit.
• Ensures adequate staffing needs are met through willingness to float.
• Reports timely and accurate changes in the patient's condition and other related responsibilities.
• Assists physicians with medical treatments, exams and procedures appropriate to the unit.
• Records vital signs and related data and supports patient teaching and discharge planning.
