Qualifications

• NCLEX is required to practice.
• Less than 5 years of work experience.
• Basic problem solving and decision making skills.
• Fundamental digital literacy and medical terminology knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Administers oral, intramuscular, subcutaneous, intravenous, and topical medications.
• Analyzes complex patient conditions and documents response to treatments.
• Monitors vital signs and records abnormalities.
• Performs routine assessments to determine patient condition and well-being.
• Guides patients to access community resources for medication and self-care.
• Coordinates wound care interventions and monitoring.
• Designs medication assessments to evaluate side effects and interactions.
• Develops mental health assessments to screen for depression and observe mood and cognition.
• Documents illnesses, medications, allergies, surgeries, and family history in the EMR.
